Family Funday at The Horses @ Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie is a Sunday event during the summer racing season, typically held in August. It’s a day designed for families to enjoy the thrill of the races alongside fun activities for all ages.
Past Funday events have included horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, bouncy castles, slushies, ice cream, sandcastle contests, and more. Kids can meet and touch the soft muzzles of pony horses during a friendly trackside meet-and-greet.
Grab a table under an umbrella and enjoy the laughter and excitement as children play and explore the activities. Like all events at Gordon Badger Stadium at J.D.A. Raceway, Family Funday is completely free.
